For the construction of a scaffold for the new LNG terminal in Dunkirk ASK Romein carried out the detailed engineering and fabrication of:

• One pipe rack

• 10 dolphin heads

• 8 walk ways, including grid flooring and handrails

The dolphin heads were produced in our workshop in Vlissingen. The walk ways were made in Roosendaal and then transported in 2 sections to Vlissingen. There we welded them into 1 bridge section. From Vlissingen all the sections were exported by water to Dunkirk. The client imposed high quality requirements for welding and coating, which were respected by ASK Romein with the greatest care.
