A process building with 2-layer duplex system
Client

Lanxess

Activity

Steel

For the petrochemical company Lanxess we built a process building from 1,500 tons of steel. The structure has a height of 45 meter and is fitted with a 2-layer duplex system: a first layer is thermally galvanized and a second layer has a duplex coating. The basic engineering was supplied by the client and the complete further development in engineering, production and erection was entrusted to ASK Romein. Thanks to the know-how built up by our specialists we devised an efficient alternative among other things for the limited space available for setting up cranes and hydraulic platforms. Very detailed planning and intensive project coordination formed the components of the further execution. Of course the development of this project focussed completely on the strict safety requirements on site.
